Assuming your company provides the right training, adequate resources and great support and coaching by the hiring manager. Why we keep seeing huge attrition, is it the company, manager’s faults or is there something else?

Let’s explore…

Often we see promising new hires skyrocket in term of production during the first few months, then stabilize as they get more entrenched into the business complexity. However, there are few candidate that never seems to get off the ground. The question is why?

During interviews often candidates states that he will do whatever it takes ethically to succeed. Many had honest genuine desire to achieve that outcome. The first quarter in the job often shows progress, the second quarter shows either an acceleration or decline based on the individual, the third quarter defines who is going to thrive or fail.

Occasionally candidates that exude great potential as rookies start to show a decline in production, low morale and fulfillment of duty. What happened to these individuals?

How can potential vanish?

Within months, sometimes weeks (candidates that cannot adopt to constant changes) the inward voice of hesitation and doubt start to settle. Shirk of duty and responsibility start to manifest. The mental feeling of defeat start to creep in, the job responsibility start to become unpleasant and start to weight tones. Then the creative excuses start taking place, followed by a period of disgruntlement, agitation and self- reclusions.

Based on my experience here is what I uncovered. Most of these failure are generated from previous mental blocks, wrong ideas and preconceived habits that act like thick wax that prevents fluidity of thought, creative acceleration, mind agility and sense of control of one performance and career.

Success is a mind affair

Your mind have real creative powers. The mind have the power to see what the eye cannot see. The mind create new patterns, adopt new one, borrow from others and create a unique connectedness that generate a road map to achieve the sought after outcome. Success is primarily the visualization of thoughts, and visualization is a form of intense focused thoughts. The stronger your power in concentration, the greater your chances to achieve remarkable results.

Your subconscious senses serve as the most accurate universal compass if you trust it and listen to its wisdom. When you concentrate your mind and thoughts into the issue at hand you will create a mental winning battle map where the problem and armies of options, possibilities and solutions coalesce to attack it from different angles until resolution. That unique close examination allows faster resolve to the most denting obstacles.

Success requires perseverance, without which the most talented, ideate, brilliant and advantageous person cannot achieve it. The joy of accomplishment and the satisfaction of achievement often requires to retreat in a moment of silence to receive guidance from within.
